Moonrider, a Bengaluru-based electric tractor manufacturing startup, has secured USD 6 million in Series A funding, reaching an important milestone in its mission to transform agricultural mechanization in India. The funding round was spearheaded by pi Ventures, a prominent deep-tech investor, with support from Singularity AMC, along with continued backing from existing investors Advantedge Founders and Micelio Fund.

Moonrider Invests more in Core Engineering, Battery Technology, and New Product Development

Moonrider stated that the newly raised capital will be utilized to enhance battery performance, refine its drivetrain systems, and complete extensive durability and field testing across diverse soil types and climatic conditions. The funding will also support faster development and market readiness of its upcoming tractor models. Currently, Moonrider is gearing up for the commercial launch of electric tractors in the 27 HP, 50 HP, and 75 HP segments in the near future.

Moonrider Targets February, 2026 for Initial Tractor Deliveries
