February 2026 turned out to be a positive month for Escorts Kubota Limited — which includes Farmtrac, Powertrac, Kubota, and Adico tractor brands — as the company reported strong year-on-year growth in tractor sales. Escorts Kubota sold 10,339 tractors during the month, compared to 8,590 units in February 2025, registering a healthy 20.4% growth.

The strong performance reflects improving rural demand, favourable agricultural conditions, and positive market sentiment across India.

Domestic Sales Drive Growth

The domestic market remained the primary growth driver for Escorts Kubota in February 2026. The company sold 9,725 tractors in India, up from 7,968 units in the same month last year — a solid 22.1% year-on-year increase.

Higher farm activity, supportive government initiatives, and a promising Rabi crop outlook contributed to this strong domestic performance. Compared to February 2025, demand in the Indian market showed clear improvement, significantly strengthening overall sales.

Export Sales See Minor Decline

In the export segment, Escorts Kubota recorded a slight decline. The company exported 614 tractors in February 2026, compared to 622 units in February 2025, reflecting a marginal 1.3% drop.

However, the small dip in exports had limited impact, as strong domestic demand more than compensated for the decline.

Overall Sales Performance

Combining domestic and export markets, Escorts Kubota’s total tractor sales reached 10,339 units in February 2026, compared to 8,590 units a year earlier. The overall 20.4% growth highlights the company’s solid market presence and improving demand conditions.

Despite softer export numbers, strong domestic momentum ensured significant overall growth compared to the previous year.

Year-to-Date Performance (April 2025 – February 2026)

Looking at the year-to-date performance, Escorts Kubota has maintained steady growth throughout the financial year.

  • Domestic sales reached 1,15,415 units, up from 99,788 units last year, showing 15.7% growth.
  • Export sales stood at 6,139 units, significantly higher than 4,392 units, recording an impressive 39.8% increase.
  • Total YTD sales rose to 1,21,551 units, compared to 1,04,180 units in the previous year — a strong 16.7% growth overall.

Conclusion

Overall, Escorts Kubota delivered a strong performance in February 2026, largely driven by robust domestic demand. While exports saw a slight monthly decline, year-to-date export performance remains encouraging. With February sales growing by 20.4% and YTD sales increasing by 16.7%, the company continues to show stable growth momentum and remains well-positioned for sustained performance in the coming months.
