Euler Motors, a Delhi-based electric commercial vehicle manufacturer, has inaugurated a dedicated four-wheeler manufacturing line at its Palwal facility in Haryana. The Euler Motors new 4W manufacturing line in Palwal was formally inaugurated on 20 August 2026 by Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp Limited, in the presence of Saurav Kumar, Founder & CEO of Euler Motors, and Gaurav Kumar, Director of Euler Motors.
The plaque at the site carries the motto “Built with conviction today for the vehicles that move India tomorrow” and is dedicated to the people whose livelihoods are powered by the vehicles the company builds.
The new line will manufacture Euler Motors’ four-wheeler portfolio. This include the Turbo EV 1000, the one-tonne electric truck, the Storm EV and a commercial vehicle equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The company has invested ₹100 crore in the manufacturing expansion. With the new line, Euler Motors’ Palwal operations now cover 40 acres and have an annual production capacity of up to 24,000 vehicles. Automated production and battery assembly
The expanded facility is designed to operate with two shifts and a third hybrid shift when running at full capacity. It features an automated four-wheeler assembly conveyor, dedicated assembly lines, a body shop and an integrated battery pack assembly line. Vehicles are designed and manufactured in India, supported by a localised supply chain.
Euler Motors has established testing procedures at different stages of production. Suspension frames, drivetrain and steering systems are tested during assembly. The battery packs undergo tests for thermal cycling, thermal shock, water wading, drop, vibration and mechanical shock, among other conditions. Electrical, mechanical and thermal systems are also checked before vehicles leave the facility.
Rising demand for electric commercial vehicles
The expansion comes as electric vehicles gain momentum in India’s commercial mobility segment. Euler Motors said EV penetration in the one-tonne four-wheeler category has increased from around 1% to 5.8%. The company has secured an estimated 28% market share. Its monthly four-wheeler sales have grown sharply. Rising from around 40 vehicles in April last year to nearly 800 vehicles in June this year.
According to Saurav Kumar, Founder and CEO of Euler Motors, the company’s four-wheeler EVs are aimed at addressing the long-standing gap between electric and ICE vehicles in terms of performance and affordability. He said the new manufacturing line will enable Euler Motors to respond to increasing demand. This will accelerate the adoption of electric mobility in commercial vehicle applications.
Turbo EV 1000 and Storm EV
The Turbo EV 1000, launched around ten months ago, is positioned as a one-tonne electric truck designed to compete with ICE-powered vehicles on performance and operating economics. The Storm EV is aimed at the four-wheeler commercial vehicle segment. This also features ADAS technologies such as collision alerts and night-vision assistance. The company expects both models to contribute to its four-wheeler production ramp-up as demand for electric commercial vehicles increases.
Strengthening quality and localisation
Mr. Gaurav Kumar, Head – Supply Chain & Manufacturing at Euler Motors, said the company is focusing on maintaining consistent quality as production scales up. Key vehicle systems, including the chassis, axles and battery pack, are handled within Euler Motors’ manufacturing operations. Vehicles are subjected to extensive testing designed around the operating conditions of Indian roads.
The Euler Motors New 4W Manufacturing Line in Palwal is expected to help Euler Motors increase production while maintaining its focus on quality, reliability and performance. The company also expects the facility to generate new employment opportunities in the region. This will support the broader growth of India’s electric commercial vehicle ecosystem.
Krishi Vikas Viewpoint
From a Krishi Vikas (agricultural development) perspective, the expanded production of affordable one-tonne electric trucks. The Turbo EV 1000 holds direct relevance for India’s farm-to-market logistics. Lower operating costs and reduced dependence on diesel. This help farmers, FPOs and rural transporters move perishable produce more economically. This also improves last-mile connectivity from villages to mandis, and cut emissions in the agricultural supply chain. Greater availability of reliable electric commercial vehicles is expected to support the broader goals of reducing logistics costs for agriculture and strengthening rural livelihoods.
