Mahindra Tractor Sales Climb 23% to 47,845 Units in May 2026

Mahindra and Swaraj tractors continued to witness strong demand across domestic and international markets in May 2026. During the month, Mahindra & Mahindra recorded total tractor sales of 49,695 units. A closer look at the numbers reveals how the company performed across key segments.

Domestic Sales: May 2026

Mahindra and Swaraj together achieved domestic tractor sales of 47,845 units in May 2026, compared to 38,914 units in May 2025, registering a strong year-on-year growth of 23%. The increase was largely driven by the timely completion of the Rabi harvest season, improved cash flow among farmers, and favourable agricultural market conditions.

Export Sales: May 2026

Mahindra and Swaraj maintained stable momentum in global markets during May 2026. Export volumes rose to 1,850 units from 1,729 units a year earlier, registering a growth of 7%. The increase highlights the continued acceptance of the company’s tractors among customers in international markets.

Combine sales: May 2026

Mahindra and Swaraj continued their strong sales run in May 2026, achieving combined wholesale sales of 49,695 tractors. Compared to 40,643 units sold in the corresponding month last year, this represents a growth of 22%. The sustained increase reflects the company’s solid market standing and continued trust among customers across regions.

April-May 2026: Total Tractor Sales Analysis

The positive momentum extended beyond May, with Mahindra and Swaraj posting cumulative sales of 98,106 tractors between April and May 2026. This marks a 22% increase over the 80,697 units sold during the corresponding period last year, highlighting the company’s strong start to the new financial year.

Mahindra and Swaraj have started FY 2026–27 on a strong note, supported by healthy demand in both domestic and export markets.
